The applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered for these scholarships (a strong emphasis is placed on community service): Be a graduating senior, attending a high school located in the 21122 or 21146 zip codes (including home-schooled students).
Children and grand-children of Rotarians are NOT eligible to apply
Planning to attend an accredited community college, college or university
Have a minimum UN-weighted GPA of 3.5
Have demonstrated involvement in community service activities
Have demonstrated involvement in school activities
Have financial need in order to attend college
Completed and mailed or hand-delivered a Lake Shore-Severna Park Rotary Club application no later than April 21, 2017.

The club of Lake Shore - Severna Park Provides fellowship and networking. Our Service activities range from local to world wide projects including among others, youth leadership, scholorships, literacy, feed the hungry, provide clean water, community beautification, improvements to local Girl Scout Camp, and the elimination of Polio from the world.
